Frequently asked questions.
Everything you need to know about working with OnesDev.
How long does a typical project take?+
Timelines depend on scope. A focused website or WordPress build may take 2–4 weeks; custom software or Laravel/MERN products often run 2–6 months. DevOps, MSP, and AWS engagements are scoped by infrastructure and coverage needs. We share a clear timeline after discovery.
What is your pricing structure?+
We offer fixed-price projects, hourly rates, and retainer agreements for development, DevOps, and MSP support. After understanding your requirements, we provide a transparent quote with a clear breakdown.
Do you provide ongoing support after launch?+
Yes. MSP retainers cover monitoring, patching, backups, and incident response with agreed SLAs. DevOps engagements focus on pipelines, IaC, and release reliability. You can use either — or both — after launch.
What is the difference between MSP and DevOps?+
DevOps is how we ship: CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, containers, and observability for engineering teams. MSP is how we run production day to day: monitoring, patching, backups, and SLA-backed incident response. Many clients use DevOps to modernize delivery, then MSP to keep systems steady.
What technologies do you work with most?+
Development: Laravel, MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node), React, Next.js, WordPress, React Native, and Flutter. Cloud & ops: AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and managed production coverage.
How fast do you reply to new inquiries?+
We aim to reply within 20 minutes. Production incident response times are defined in the MSP agreement and are separate from sales reply time.
How do you handle communication during projects?+
We keep communication clear with regular updates (typically weekly calls), shared project tools (Notion or Jira), and dedicated Slack channels. You get a single point of contact for progress, risks, and next steps.
Can you work with our existing team?+
Absolutely. We embed with in-house teams for feature delivery, DevOps augmentation, MSP coverage, or AWS support — and adapt to your workflow and tooling.
Do you sign NDAs and ensure confidentiality?+
Yes. We are happy to sign NDAs before discussing project details. Client data and IP are handled with strict confidentiality and standard security practices.
What if I need changes after the project is complete?+
Projects include a revision window. Post-launch changes are handled via MSP/DevOps retainers or scoped follow-on work so you can keep iterating as needs evolve.
Do you support compliance and regulatory requirements?+
Yes. We engineer products toward the controls your engagement needs — such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, WCAG/ADA, data residency, and audit logging — so systems are audit-ready. Scope is defined per project; we do not imply that OnesDev itself is a certified covered entity or auditor.
How do your rates compare to typical market pricing?+
Quotes are often up to 30% below typical agency or staff-aug market rates for comparable scope — leaner operations and no agency markup, without cutting delivery rigor. Savings vary by region, seniority mix, and timeline; we share a clear breakdown after discovery.
